He has a carefree, zero Fs to give attitude, but the way he treats Jordyn-the way he tries to lift her up when everyone else tears her down-is exactly what I like to see in a male love interest. (but they definitely didn't make 'em like that when I was in high school, that's for sure.) Probably one of my favorite things about this story was Xan's personality. And Xan may be one of the best dirty-talking heroes I've met this year. The chemistry between the two main characters, Xan and Jordyn, was off the charts. It has some silly teenage drama (again, think GG) but also some depth to it as well, as the main characters deal with issues such as the death of a sibling, body image, and self-discovery. The romance is opposites attract with a bit of angst and a ton of sexy moments. Little Devil is a high school romance set in a world of privilege, comparable to Gossip Girl, but with characters that are way more likable. Steam wise, the sexy abs are on point, but the cover art combined with the title had me expecting something dark- enemies-to-lovers, perhaps?-but that this book is not. ![]() Little Devil is the perfect example of why you should't judge a book by its cover. ![]() “That little devil inside you? I wanna play with her.” “I don’t want a princess,” I tell her, shamelessly moving my eyes over her sexy little outfit.
